
The Dr. Ben Attah Foundation is pleased to announce the opening of its 2025 Tertiary Institutions Scholarship Program, aimed at supporting students from Okobo Local Government Area (LGA) in Akwa Ibom State. The application portal is open from January 1, 2025, to March 31, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Residency: Applicants must be residents of Okobo LGA, Akwa Ibom State.
- Academic Standing: Candidates should be enrolled in a recognized tertiary institution and possess a valid JAMB result slip.
- Documentation: Required documents include:
- Certificate of Origin from Okobo LGA.
- Recommendation letter from a certified chief or senior civil servant.
- Recent examination results from the current institution.
- Reference letter from the Head of Department or a senior lecturer.
- A personal application letter (maximum 500 words) detailing the values the applicant intends to contribute to Okobo LGA and society at large.
Application Process:
- Document Preparation: Gather all necessary documents, ensuring they are in PDF format.
- Online Submission:
- Visit the Dr. Ben Attah Foundation’s official website here.
- Navigate to the Scholarships/Awards section and select the tertiary institution application form.
- Upload the prepared documents, ensuring all attachments are included.
- Submit the application by clicking the “Send” button.
Post-Application Timeline:
- Initial Review: Disqualified or non-competitive applicants will be notified within two weeks after the application portal closes.
- Feedback: Applicants progressing past the first review stage will receive feedback within 60 days post-closure.
- Final Awards: Scholarship recipients will be announced three months after the application period ends.
